I don't know to what extent the number 10 is significant, but it is a round number and to reach this number of Jazzings (CDs by the Sant Andreu Jazz Band) for me is, to say the least, a great joy.
JAZZING 10, but 18 CDs in reality, as several of them are doubles or triples, as is the case of this last one, which consists of three volumes.
The first of these (vol. 1), dedicated to the music of Clifford Brown, with special arrangements for the occasion of songs that were either Clifford's own originals or songs he used to perform.
The other two volumes (vol. 2 and 3) are also a sample of the different recordings we have made during 2019, both with the Sant Andreu Jazz Band as a whole, or in smaller formats, and in two different venues such as the JAZZ HOUSE (home of the young orchestra) and the Jamboree Jazz Club, where we have also played and recorded on many occasions.
