This album, dedicated to the work of Luigi Grasso, is the second volume of a collection that focuses on the role of the arranger, who often goes unnoticed, but who is so important in formations where writing for several wind instruments is required, from quintet or sextet to the standard big band formation.
This CD features Pasquale Grasso, an exceptional guitarist, and Luca Pisani and Esteve Pi on the rhythm section.
On this occasion, the wind players are all members of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, all very good instrumentalists and increasingly better soloists.
