This CD is, for several reasons, very important to me. It perfectly reflects my way of feeling music for some years now: simplicity, beauty, harmony, emotion, feeling, passion and a lot of tenderness and naivety; there is room for pain and sadness, for love and heartbreak, but above all there is hope and joy.

This CD is, for several reasons, very important to me. In it I made my debut as a cornetist, as a bass saxophonist and as a double bass player, and I rediscovered the tenor saxophone, an instrument I had forgotten because of my special dedication to the baritone saxophone.

This CD is, for several reasons, very important to me, because all the musicians who accompany me are incredible: Ignasi Terraza, David Mengual, Esteve Pi, Josep Traver, Santi Alonso, Manel Álvarez, Olivier Roque, Eva Fernández, Iscle Datzira, Bobby Gordon, and... Andrea Motis.

Andrea, a saxophone student of mine since she was 11 years old, has an infinite capacity for work, boundless enthusiasm, always willing to learn and always eager to play. Trumpeter as first instrument, but also saxophonist and singer. This disc is a small sample of its capabilities.
