Marc Martín was a member of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band between 2009 and 2014.
He was always a reference and an example for the others, for his attitude in rehearsals and concerts, and also for his dedication and study, which led him to have a constant musical evolution and to be a very important element in the band.
Inspired by classical jazz pianists, he has always shown great interest in finding his own voice, searching for rhythmic, melodic and harmonic variety, which makes his discourse original and surprising.
This album is a sample of that philosophy, and in line with all the previous albums, we find guests such as Dick Oatts, Scott Robinson and Jon-Erik Kellso and Toni Belenguer. He also features the voices of Andrea Motis and Eva Fernández, his band mates during all these years. The rhythm section is completed by Josep Traver and Esteve Pi. And finally, and very specially, the participation in a theme of the entire SAJB, which, on the verge of its 10th anniversary, continues to achieve marvellous results.
