The Swedish saxophonist Fredrik Carlquist, resident in Barcelona since 2001, presents his 9th album, "Saxophone Conversations", music that has been constructed in dialogue between Carlquist's tenor sax and Joan Chamorro's baritone sax, both renowned saxophonists on the national jazz scene.

The music begins in the swing era and continues through Carlquist's original compositions, dynamic and melodic themes in which every detail is taken care of.

On this album, he has been joined by Andrea Motis on trumpet.
