The streets of New Orleans - Dani Alonso Trio

The Streets Of New Orleans is an album recorded by the trio of the versatile trombonist (and director of the Barcelona Jazz Orchestra) Dani Alonso, one of the musical symbols of swing and traditional jazz in Catalonia.

The repertoire of this album incorporates a sample of different music from the city of New Orleans, simple but very varied. Old fashioned tunes from the 1920s, such as The Sheik of Araby, It's en Sin to tell en Lie, or Zis Mo l'Amour, performed to Swing rhythm; Gospel and Negro Spirituals songs, and Dixieland tunes such as Little Willie or Knee Drops.
