Sant Andreu Reunion Jazz Band - Madrid Chamartín

A group made up of young musicians directed by Joan Chamorro.

The variety of instruments in the group makes the sonority of this Big Band attractive and varied, in which trumpets, trombones, saxophones and violin, together with the rhythm section, offer us a journey through different moments in the history of jazz, including the most contemporary music.

Special arrangements for this meeting in which the music performed ranges from swing, bebop, vocal jazz to Brazilian music. The vocal repertoire forms an important part of the concert, in which we can hear the voices of Koldo Munné, Èlia Bastida, Clàudia Rostey and Joan Martí, with special arrangements of music by Nina Simone and A.C. Jobim, among others.
